It’s pretty clear that there are some internal more detailed stats - we are expecting updates from CQC, and ONS this week...

What we do know is that the outbreak data is notified by care homes on the form below, in yellow. And 2000 or so (not exact because you have to read the number off the blue box) were returned up until two weeks ago. Past few years this runs at 5-20 a week. Latest figs 600-800...
