The problem with @DAVEDISCI a thread:
This is NOT a hate thread. DO NOT go to his youtube account and send him any death threats of sorts. He is still human.
@DAVEDISCI I hope you read this
1. Misleading Titles( BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING. I watched your reason behind this) It's time to let the worms out.
I have no problem with you putting in 'Why ARMY'S are...' The problem lies after that. It is how you word your the situation. The way you word the titles tend to make it sound as though what they did was scandalous (which is not the case). Or as if the rumors were to be true.
For example, you brought up J*min's rumored dr*nking problem. You wanted to address their worries but the way you titled the video made it seem as though he *does* have the problem. It's borderline defamation. I'm not saying it is.
Your titles may not mean much to experienced fans but non-fans or antis, who don't bother watching theses kinds of videos might stumble upon this and think there are actual scandals happening when they're not. Even I occasionally stumble upon your video and get mini-heart attacks
Example: You see, I have no qualms with the second part of the title since it is a fact that BH did sue a minor but the second part can be interpreted wrongly. There are antis already hat*ng on T*E for this and this title is fuel to the fire if they refuse to watch the video.
You expressed frustration about people being mislead by your titles but you can't blame them, your titles can be very misleading and in a negative way. It's okay to have clickbait as titles just as long as at first glance it wouldn't be seen as a possible scandal.
Like, imagine someone decides to create a video titled, 'ARMY'S FURIOUS at Dave Disci Vlogs for D*FAMING B*S!??' And in the video the actually talk about how your titles were interpreted wrongly and you actually mean no harm or smtg? Would you fee frustrated?
2. Misleading thumbnails
Majority of your thumbnails tend to be pictures that are not even related to the topic at hand or very outdated. I made this reply not long ago on another post.
3. False information.
I know you say not to take your word for things you were unclear about but sometimes the information you were unclear about is something that could have easily been found if you looked a little more.
Example #1: BTS Run ep 102
This is just a small mistake so this could’ve just been looked over. Yes, the episode was released by accident but it was on Weverse. NOT Vlive.
Example #2:T*ehyung's song preview.
Yes, he did reveal part of his song but what you got wrong is that this is his own song (like Winter bear, scenery) and not a song going to be part of the album so it is up to him whether he wanted to show it or not and BH shouldn't be bothered
So he didn't 'leak' anything
Example #3: You said that bangbangcon was paid content which was untrue and you got that info from other unreliable accounts rather than finding out from the official source itself. This makes you look very gullible and in turn make you an unreliable source like you are now
As an influencer who wants to spread information and share the views of fans, when given information, you should research further into it with reliable sources and find as much information as possible before putting it out into the open. With your and other opinions.
I'm saying you have to know the *full* truth but I'm saying to gather what you can before you post.
4. Many people complain about this the most, the overanalysing of shipping videos. Look, I love shipping a lot. But I also know that these ships aren't real and don't analyze too deeply.
Your comments during the reactions can also make a lot of people uncomfortable. Especially with what happened with T*T. If they're of age, I don't really care even though it makes me uncomfortable but since they are not, your comments can sometimes be highly inappropriate.
Also, I get that since you're an influencer, you would get unnecessary hate and those kind of people suck. No one deserves unnecessary hate. However, most of the people I've seen have expressed concern and disgust over the problems I listed above.
People are mass emailing for you to get sued and this thread would shed some light for the matter. Why not you get yourself in our shoes instead and see the dilemma we face when stumbling upon these titles. We get worried for our favs.
Also, I replied to the reply you gave me and i understand why you wouldn't reply since you answered it in the video but I would still would appreciate a proper response to other things I pointed out.
That's all I wanted to say. Stay safe and healthy.
