Seeing how our institutions and general populace can’t grapple with a disaster on the time scale of two weeks asymptomatic / months of lockdown is kicking my climate grief into gear tonight. There’s literally no way to get them to turn the heat down on the pot, is there.

We’re going to struggle and fight just to keep some semblance of shit together as everything falls apart, despite the fact that we could have fixed it. And there will be someone coughing “hoax!” as they choke on ash.
