Why the misleading headline? Your article itself mentions that a leading British Muslim, our longest-serving Muslim MP, backs Phillips.
Shouldn't your headline at least read:
"Leading British Muslims divided over Phillips' appointment" ?

@guardian @guardiannews Furthermore, your misleading headline will actually increase Islamophobia or anti-Muslim hatred. The headline implies that British Muslims are all puerile, reactionary regressives. Representing the diversity of British Muslim opinion would be better. Ty
