DEAR SUPERM!!! during your live (line em up i believe) mark, taemin and ten did a dance move that mocked our culture. im sure this was not their intention. we just want you to know about it and apologize as many are hurt by it, including me. (please read the whole thread)
this is the video showing the dance they did... it is obvious that it is "mocking" our culture. this is because it seems as if they are mocking classical indian dance which is religious. we feel hurt because of this.
and of course, we are not cancelling the boys. we are educating them. we would like an apology and for everyone to be informed about this issue. we are often mocked and people belittle our issues. it would be amazing if you listened to us here.
desi people have EVERY right to be upset. and we will forgive mark, taemin and ten if they apologize. we love them and if they were educated on this and our culture, we will be happy. for now, please let them face the consequences.
please do not invalidate us. and please do not call ten, mark and taemin racist. they were ignorant. if you are not desi or you werent offended, keep scrolling and dont talk about it. so many are.
please do not use the video i posted to cancel. twitter cancel culture is TOXIC. i want them to know what they did was wrong, not punish them like that. i love you all and if youre upset, please dm me we will talk about it.
