When someone relays something to another character that the audience has already seen, but leaves out loads of really pertinent details. oh someone else on this thread pointed out another one I hate - when you see texts between people who are supposed to be family/friends/wtvr and there’s no previous texts on the screen, these are apparently the first texts they’ve ever sent each other
