Ok I’m going to say it, even if it’s a controversial (sacrilegious?). This #ClapForCarers thing has to stop. I’m an nhs worker, and it was lovely to begin with. But now it’s awkward. People are being guilt-tripped into doing it even if they don’t want to or are busy.

It’s become something everyone now feels obliged to do, and feels judged if they don’t. Enough already. The first one was so touching it brought me to tears. But this has run its course now.
