I’m seeing a lot of ‘I’ve sent ____ gifts!’ And I feel the ethos of the #AmazonWishList hashtag is a little lost. It isn’t about numbers, or getting anything in return. You’re doing it from a good place, to make someone happy — not for kudos or recognition.
When this is all over, a person will remember that one unexpected gift they received that made lockdown easier. Not the twitter handle of that person who sent out 75 gifts and tweeted about it.
