I've been seeing a lot of tweets lately about that jane girl on tiktok. And i feel the need to talk about this. I might not be a fan of her content nor enjoy her videos at all. But what i do in this case is keep scrolling. Attacking her on a personal level and criticizing her-
personality (that we know nothing about) on social platforms is just insensitive and inconsiderate. Never ever make fun of what people put out there bcs they probably worked hard and are still working hard on it. It hurts so much coming from experience. And I'm not just-
talking about her in particular. Hating on creators in general for whatever reason without even knowing them is wrong on so many levels. You find it useless cringy and bad? Its your opinion(which should be respected as well) but keep it to yourself don't act on it by bashing her-
publicly bcs it might hurt more than you think and i mean just don't watch the video if it bugs you that much. Focus on the creators you love and leave the ones you don't appreciate in peace. Like how are her looks or the way she talks or acts attacking-
you personally(your ideologies\\ beliefs) to feel the need to attack her back? And my opinion on this matter has changed a lot throughout the past few months. If you feel like you wanna do tiktok go ahead and do it. It makes you feel good then fuck everyone-
who says "omg i cringed" and post that tiktok. If it makes you happy do it. No one gets to tell you what to do especially if you're not hurting anyone by what you're doing. You don't have to settle for what society's standards are for "cool" and "cringy".
"these tiktok kids are the worst" what the hell do we know about them to say that. And i was one of the people who would roll their eyes whenever tiktok is mentioned in a conversation and i used to make fun of the Lebanese creators there(never to a point where i felt that i-
should post smth degrading them tho) and now i make tiktoks (for myself and my friends)it's so fun and i love it and whoever tells me i should stop has to re-evaluate their way of thinking. We should stop this bcs it's not constructive criticism anymore it's bullying.
