It gives me absolutely no pleasure to report that the Laurence Fox interview is somehow even worse than we knew it would be
A low-light is when Richard Ayoade, his brother-in-law, tells him post-Question Time that Fox has never experienced racism.

To which Fox tells him: "yes of course I have."

Seriously.
Surely the context is better. Nope, worse.

The full quote: “Yeah, of course I have. I’ve encountered racism from black people towards me, when I was working in Kenya [as a safari driver] for seven months. It’s the way you’re spoken to — racism can be deferential.”
"racism can be deferential"
An interesting aside is the revelation that he is "shagging" his fellow Question Time panellist and Telegraph hack Madeleine Grant.

Which makes this particular piece of "journalism" interesting
"why my boyfriend is brilliant" isn't the most ethical of columns is it?
There was also an exclusive in the MoS today about Fox finding love with a photographer so god knows where Grant fits in.
