honestly i'm still really pissed off from rewatching kate & leopold the other night. i wasn't expected to be so triggered by a romcom but here we are.

and then to make such a big deal over how meg ryan would have to climb over the fucking girder to get to the spot to jump and then have a FUCKING COP come and tell her not to jump but when she does he's in the background radioing "we have a jumper" but oh it's so romantic

because she's going back in time to be with hugh jackman uwu

FUCK YOU. THAT IS NOT CUTE. IT IS GROSS AND I HATE IT. like i honestly felt sick last night.

bitch, i took a fucking university class on time travel in fiction. there are SO many other ways you can make time travel work. having your time travel work by your characters doing something which people do to take their own lives is not cute, or creative.
