MISCONCEPTION : Karna called Draupadi 'Prostitute' and asked Dussasan to disrobe her

1) Karna had confessed that any woman having relation to five is nothing but 'बन्धकी' (as per Sanskrit) #Mahabharat

What is the meaning of 'बन्धकी' as per Sanskrit?

बन्धकी clearly means 'Unchaste Woman' #Mahabharat

2) #Kunti also confessed same rules of morality and admitted that any woman having relation to four men known as 'swairini' and five men known as 'harlot' #Mahabharat

Conclusion : Karna just repeated the words of kunti Devi and whatever #Karna said was the bitter truth as the rules and regulations of Vedas and shastras. No person, no character of mahabharat ever blamed Karn for these words. #Mahabharat

3) Let's see overhyped so called order of #Karna. He asked #Dussasan to take away garments (Uttariya) of Pandavas and #Draupadi. #Mahabharat

Following order of #Karna all #pandava without getting angry take off their upper garments.

If Karna asked for full disrobing then why pandavas didn't remove all robes?

Does that mean that pandavas were standing naked? #Mahabharat

4) All pandavas took off only upper garment (uttariya) because order was for partial disrobing of #pandavas and #Draupadi. Vedic culture does mentioned three parts of women clothing. #Mahabharat

Paridhana - Lower garments
Mekhana - Middle Belt

5) It's also misconception that #Draupadi was ekvastra that time as Ved vyass himself confessed that many upper garments dishevelled when #Dussasan dragged her. #Mahabharat

Was it righteousness to take away upper garment of any woman?

It's criminal act if it happens today but we should consider that #mahabharat happened before thousands of years ago. We can't compare today's culture to those days.

6) In those days, servent woman and widow went topless without wearing upper Garments and it was in no way insulting for those woman. You can see below paintings based on ancient scripture. #Mahabharat

Kunti was also topless as she was widow. #Mahabharat

7) Mr.Bibek Debroy, a scholar who translated critical edition also accepted that women in those days used to roam topless specially Servent and Widow. So dussasan was trying to disrobe her partially in order to made her accept that she is no longer Royal queen. #Mahabharat

Draupadi also never protested against partial disrobing rather she was trying to protest against her status which changed from Royal queen to Servent. Dussasan never attempted to disrobe her rather it was attempt to take away her royalty. #Mahabharat

8)Despite having knowledge of Dice incident still #Krishna himself offered Draupadi to #Karna. #Mahabharat
