why veronica lodge is a superior friend to betty cooper (a thread)

1. this one was inevitable to be on this list: v didn't cheat by kissing her bestfriends boyfriend. kissing with constent in the "lodge lodge" don't really count as cheating.

1. continuation: i understand the 2x9 kiss wouldn't be cheating to most. i know the main couples were broken up. however, who tf (aka what kind of friend) kisses their best friends bf like one week after they breakup.

2. whenever ronnie tries to be reasonable and mature about a situation betty acts like a middle school girl.

3. this is kinda a two parted reason but whatever. betty claims to defend veronica as if she's done a billions of times, i can hardly remember anytime betty defended her. she constantly calls v selfish despite how many small and large selfless acts veronica has done.

4. veronica always gives betty advice or/and a genuine pep talk and yet betty rarely ever gives v a chance to explain herself. also betty gives shitty advice and doesn't understand how dangerous veronica's parents really are.

5. this speaks for itself.

6. v promised not to do anything like that to betty (closet kiss) again anf she kept her word. in return betty kisses archie twice (technically three but the 2nd was staged) with both kisses being influenced by her. she then throws veronica's apology away like it's nothing.

7. many claim v stole archis from betty and yet ronnie tried to set barchie up and betty ruined all her chances. this scene is proof of that.

8. many use the first clip as evidence of betty defending b. what is the first clip compared to the second? dust.

9. people say v didn't consider betty's feelings after & during the kiss and yet v told archie they shouldn't kiss and asked him about his feelings for betty. also as seen in the scene below she knew betty seeing them together after she knows they kissed would add to the fire.
