The idea of ppl's equality is a very good one. Even though our world may never become a completely safe place to live in, we can still try to make it as close to this definition as possible. But in reality people's value is never the same. E.g. when you're courting someone.

There are people for whom you can do everything and anything to win their heart, to make them like you, to make them reciprocate. For others you would hardly do as much as buying them a coffee. For some ppl you would try hard, for others you would think a lame try is enough.

The truth is that deep inside your heart you don't think all the ppl are equally valuable, equally important. In a severe emergency if you were made to choose whose life to save first: your partner's or a complete stranger's, guess to whose rescue you would run first?
