the song is focused on insecurities ,
which is where light& #39;s personality
comes in .

i knew he& #39;d be based off this
concept , but also , because of
the lyric ; " now the devil
won& #39;t leave me alone " , i& #39;ve
had light be this paranoid man .

he still kinda -

- is , but it& #39;s lessened since
he fell in love with slendy .

before slender , light refused
to leave his place , he felt
like he wasn& #39;t good enough
until the other came along .

deep down , light still feels
that way even if he& #39;s -

- happy . light thinks the devil& #39;s
been attacking him since the day
he was created when
really , it& #39;s him struggling with
all his thoughts ( based off
the explanation in the photo )

so what i& #39;ve basically come up
is -

- as light battles with himself and
keeps losing , he lets the devil
in . every loss of faith that he has
in himself slowly turns him into
a demon .

short explanation : think of
lucifer from the netflix series , he
made himself all demonic because
of -

- thoughts he kept bottled in
for years and years . he
never accepted himself until
he met chloe .

so really , it& #39;s kinda the same
situation with light here .
as he keeps going like this , he
won& #39;t be the same anymore until
he can finally learn to love himself .
