When the accusations were made about Brett Kavanaugh, there was hundreds of stories about it and celebrities spoke out. Accusations have been made about Joe Biden, but there has been very little coverage, and even celebrities who champion the #metoo movement haven’t commented (1)

And some have even spoken publicly about not believing the survivor. To advocate for survivors, we need to believe ALL survivors, regardless of who they accuse ,and hold all offenders accountable regardless political affiliation. (2)

This thread might seem political, but it’s not- sexual assault isn’t political, it’s just wrong, no matter what. As future advocate, I just want to hold anyone who commits it accountable and support the survivors who lived through it. (3)

I hope one day we live in world with trauma-informed investigations, no rape kit backlog, restorative justice, and a culture where rape is never okay, regardless of the clothes you wore, how much you drank, your sexual history, or your relationship with the offender. (4)
