The vibe I keep getting is that there’s about to be some civil disobedience in the USA. Unemployment pay is a fraction of what workers are used to being paid in most instances. Many have lost health insurance coverage for themselves and their children.
Can you imagine not being able to pay for your kids meds? Also, people are growing frustrated in what I would say is over consumption of social media and news that isn’t clarifying to their situation. Doesn’t help most media has some political bent.
Folks aren’t happy during uncertainty and those who are without jobs that want to start working again to provide for their families are reading things like “how selfish can you be to risk someone’s life just for a paycheck?”
In reality they are desiring to provide for their families which is an unselfish desire. I don’t think there’s a one size fits all solution to this situation but where it is possible I think the USA needs to open up for business.
It’s terrible we aren’t going to be able to avoid others getting seriously sick or possibly dying no matter how long we wait to open back up. It’s also terrible nearly 30 million people are on unemployment and probably rising the longer this goes on.
We cannot sustain living like this for much longer and the people are growing restless. It’s hard to compress everything you think into a thread and I have many other thoughts but these felt good to get off my chest for now to my very small crowd of followers.
