Ever think about how SuperFlash have been through SO much & lost so much, but they still remain light hearted & wonderful people?
They make mistakes like everyone else but they dont let that define them. They are gifted with these insane powers & CHOOSE to be heroes. Love that

Like, Kara literally lost her entire planet. Had to leave her parents behind to “die” (she didn’t know her mother would end up alive), and go live on a strange planet where she would suddenly have powers.

Barry’s greatest nemesis killed his mother, framed his father, & spends his life trying to make Barry miserable.
He had to grow up with people talking about how his dad was a murderer & have NO ONE (except Iris ) believe that he was telling the truth about what really happened.

And then he gets powers! And suddenly he has a new responsibility.
People think that having powers just means everything is easier. LOL.
It isn’t. Powers come with new challenges and threats that are just as difficult to conquer as someone who fights without powers.

They’ve lost countless people, had to sacrifice things that gutted them completely, made choices in moments of grief and despair that anyone would make, and then did their best to rectify them.
All the while keeping their spirit alive.

How many times has Barry had the chance to kill Thawne and NEVER taken it?
I’m tired of people holding Flashpoint over Barry’s head as if Oliver didn’t say he’d make the EXACT same choice. That anyone would.
Heroes make mistakes, that’s what makes them interesting and complex.

Just because Kara is bulletproof and can fly doesn’t mean she’s not had to make TOUGH choices. To save the world, she had to throw someone she loved into a pod and make a sacrifice SUPERMAN said he couldn’t make.

How many times have both of them been MORE than willing to give up their lives? Crisis? Elseworlds? Dozens of times in their own shows?
Just because other people take that sacrifice away from them, does not mean they aren’t always ready to make that choice.

At the end of the day, Barry & Kara have remained GOOD people that stand in the light. People that Oliver gave his life for because he believed they were the best of them. He believed in their strength & compassion & heart.
