Here we go! An ongoing list of underrated Joker artists for #Joker80 !

These are the ones who don’t normally end up on top ten lists due to the fog of time, only having done one-offs, whatever- please note I can't do EVERY joker artist but I'll try to add to it frequently

NB: This is coming from what I see as the modern fandom perspective- people might know and love these artists, they’re just a little less ‘tip-of-the-tongue’ than the others- we’re talking specifically about their Joker works here!

José Luis García-López
If you grew up in the 80s and 90s and had ANYTHING Batman branded, odds are it had José’s art on it- he literally writes the guidebook! (Mine was a Bats & Joker lunch box lol) His art is STILL being used on all sorts of merch as the CLASSIC image of Joker.

Tim Sale
His most famous Joker art can be found in The Long Halloween, but he’s done several covers and art for individual issues and runs. His joker is instantly recognizable for his extreme proportions that somehow fit perfectly into the aesthetics of his version of Gotham

Forgot to mention but feel free to add to this post! I'm no expert by far and this was originally meant as a sort of repository for the various styles of Joker (I'm always like "who drew that Joker that looked like x" for my art lol)- if you've got a fav toss them my way
