When I was in class 10, I visited my friend Ayub and there his young cousin told me “ ok, you are a Hindu “ I asked so what? and then I started to understand the religious differences & their importance in Muslim families @RubikaLiyaquat @romanaisarkhan @anjanaomkashyap Debate? https://twitter.com/kapoorshishir/status/1254240068476080128
I want kids to be free, loving life, studying with liberated minds and not living under fear of the unseen. I had many Muslim friends and we hardly cared for these things. Faith should be in sub conscious to act as a support but life should be guided by scientific temperament
Let the kids understand that there is a power call it God or nature which helps righteousness, good natured humans, so tread on right path but rule book religiosity is regressive and comparisons are there like 🇦🇫 🇮🇷 🇮🇶 🇵🇰 🇾🇪 🇸🇦 🇮🇩 and many more. Celebrate life not death
Extreme religious display prepares a counterattack and that is what the world is witnessing, even the most liberal Sanatan Dharma followers have started taking sides and literate, not the educated, theologians and politicians have started using them to create a permanent divide
Original creations are different and created considering the circumstances, surrounding and current situation of that period but it cannot be one size fits all and forever. Reforms are necessary and while doing so animosity towards others should be strictly avoided
I recently saw Caliphate on Netflix and still remember a movie Khuda Ke Liye which should be seen and understood. Don’t target a community, it needs to come out of its complexes, dogma and extreme views and join the mainstream. I hope this thread will be viewed constructively
