You can have perfect moments with people who aren't perfect for you, the right fit for you, healthy for you, good for you, or actually meant for you. Remember that when you find yourself holding onto something incredibly broken just because you love the memories so much.
It's hard to let go, I know. But, believe me, you'll have more perfect moments in the future. With new people. Keep the memories of those experiences but still, let that person go. You know that they're not right for you. It doesn't mean those moments weren't perfect at the time.
The energy will feel just right..the chemistry, the connection, the stars seem to have aligned...there's electricity. It feels like magic. Moments like that are hard to let go of. Holding on to the person who created that perfection is justifiably painful and extremely difficult.
