Plantinga’s major claim to fame was his decisive refutation of J.L. Mackie’s logical argument from evil against theism, but he is also well known for numerous other essays on the problem of evil, reformed epistemology, etc.

But the consistent theme of Plantinga’s entire philosophical career has been his rigorous application of the methods of analytic philosophy to the philosophy of religion. One need not be a theist in order to recognize this.

Plantinga also started one of the major journals in the field, FAITH AND PHILOSOPHY, which I have subscribed to since the mid 1990s.

I’m curious, since you seem to be dismissive of his work, what faults you found in his books “God and Other Minds” and “Warrant and Proper Function”?
