While publicly Trump is saying nice things about Xi, he has worked tirelessly for the last 3 years to contain China. Our fake media has also intentionally misinformed the population on Trump's moves on China. Either due to their stupidity or the fact they are in bed with China...
...or both. Probably both at this point. President Trump has been the toughest President on China since Truman and the hot war with China during the Korean war. The list of actions taken below the radar against China have been long and powerful.

his engagement with NK leader.
Trade moves
Rebuilding our armed forces
foreign policy moves to isolate China

...history using the public comments by Trump as a club while ignoring the private moves by Trump. Biden, Obama, the dems as well as Bush/GOPe have been very friendly to China. If people want someone to oppose China, Trump is the only one on the field among Western & US leaders.
If you believe China is a threat to the USA, there really is only one choice this November and it isn't Biden.....
