Is anybody ever gonna talk about all the white bearded gay dudes who come out as non-binary on here without having any gender dysphoria or any experience being treated like a trans person in society and then all of a sudden every tweet is a rant about "cis white gay men"??
Whether you identify with your assigned gender or not, certainly being perceived daily as the most privileged form of person and treated as such is a significant factor in how you should be taking up space and how you should speak on certain issues.
For the record, I don't "feel" like a man and am probably technically non-binary, but to try and publicly identify that way and make myself a part of conversations that should center discriminated-against trans people, when I look like I do, seems like a dick move.
Because weALL know that the attention is going to disproportionately go to white amab people like Sam Smith, JVN, and Nico Tortorella. People who may identify as trans but have all the privilege that comes with being assigned male and cis-passing.
