1. There was a great tradition started in the Ford Administration for the outgoing Press Secretary to leave a note for the incoming Press Secretary. The notes were stashed in the pocket of a kelvar vest that somehow Ron Nessen obtained.

2. Each incoming Press Secretary was able to read all the wisdom compiled before them, but no one was allowed to reveal any of the notes.

Somewhere in between the Bush and Obama administrations the vest disappeared and it’s not likely now it will ever be found.

3, But as often as the Trump administration changes Press Secretaries, I thought I’d write a little not to help Kaleigh along a bit.
