Y'know it's much less likely that Shakespeare invented all those words than it is that he introduced working class vernacular to the nobility.

Keeping in mind that Shakespeare WAS working class so what I'm picturing is Shakespeare filling his plays with perfectly ordinary words and being totally bemused at the nobles congratulating him on his genius in wordsmithing.
