With the new FNM at Home promo packs, with the stated goal of giving the feel of the physical promo packs from FNM, it got me thinking about what promos and alt arts for cards on Arena that aren't on Arena.

I thought it'd be a 1-2 dozen.

There's at least 165.

Here they are.
Before I delve into it, we do have 7 promos that were released before card styles are a thing, so they're kinda awkwardly non-craftable cards that irk some people (me) if there are gaps in the collection, and it's kinda an awkward inconsistency.
A few notes:
- I'm not including any promos that have the same art, which includes stamped promos and promos which just added a watermark.
- I'm not including promo basics, as really all (non-snow) basics would be easy to add as cosmetic promos.
- Generally I'm only looking at non-set printings, with the exception of masters sets alt art, as they wouldn't likely be added to Arena down the line, unlike alt arts from older sets.
- I may have missed some, please let me know if I did!

(Oops should be numbering these)
(4/x)
First up we have 7 of the old FNM alt-art promos. The old promo system changed with Ixalan (hey remember promo *tokens*), so we don't have any recent ones in this group, but Historic Anthology cards and reprints in sets have been FNM promos in the past.
(5/x)
Before Dominaria with Firesong and Sunspeaker, Buy-a-Box promos had alternate art promos, as well as bundles recently have gone back to including them as well.
Also a Buy-a-Box promo in the winter of 2017 was a promo pack which included one of the promo Ixalan flip lands, which had alternate art on the land side of the gorgeous map of Ixalan @TheRedEpic created.

(7/x)
Through WAR there were special promos for draft/launch weekend with alternate art (the Firemind's Research we have already is one of these).

(8/x)
War of the Spark also had that weird Planeswalker Weekend event (the one where it was a draft but with the rules that PWers could be cast with any color of mana) and it had 2 special promos.
(9/x)
In a similar vein the Open House event for getting newer players into the game had promos - the alt art Llanowar Elves we have on Arena is one of these.
(10/x)
The store championships had promos for them as well, including a very good Selesnya girl who I'd love to have this art of on Arena as I use this promo in my paper Selesnya theme EDH deck.
(11/x)
Back when they were a thing, Sealed Leagues had promos. GRN had one too, but it was just a Necrotic Wound with a watermark but same art - a huge step down from that really sweet Reliquary Tower.
(12/x)
Moving out of the world of the more common promos, we have one GP promo from way back for the Historic Anthology maelstrom pulse, as well as 4 more recent general "convention" promos.
(13/x)
Speaking of conventions, we have the SDCC promos as well. only 2/5 walkers from 2018 are on Arena, but all of 2019's are from WAR.
(14/x)
While it may seem out of left field - coming only from a Japanese magazine - this alt art Cast Down wouldn't be alone on Arena either, as the alt-art Duress we have on there came from the same source (at least with that art with the M19 set symbol)
(15/x)
Moving more into the realm of alt-arts, there is the elephant in the room of the unfathomable reasoning of why the Japanese alt-art planeswalkers weren't added to Arena, opting for the stained-glass walkers in their stead.
(16/x)
(I'm not listing all of them but there are 36 of them for anyone who's counting what we're at)
(17/x)
In the vein of alternate art Planeswalkers, there are all the extended art planeswalkers since Eldraine that have not been added to Arena (even with the systems for getting the showcase cards as well).

Ikoria still has time to prove me wrong though.
(18/x)
Even more extended art planewalkers we have from Mythic Edition - we actually have 3 already (Teferi, HoD, Vraska GQ, and Ral, IV), but there are 6 others from recent sets still.
(19/x)
Next in the land of fancy editions of cards, we have the Zendikar Expeditions of the shock lands, which honestly would be pretty sweet to get with Zendikar Rising next autumn, although shock will have rotated out of standard by then.
(20/x)
In the rest of masterpiece land, we have 4 artifacts that were among the Kaladesh Inventions, as well as 2 spells which were printed as Invocations.
(21/x)
Only have 2 cards with printings from the Signature Spellbooks we have so far, but the Blackblade is very pretty.
(22/x)
In terms of older special editions of cards, we have 2 on Arena that have From the Vault alternate arts, as well as 2 that were the face cards of Dual Decks which got alternate art for that appearance as well.
(23/x)
Back to more recent promos, there are 4 Secret Lair cards that currently are on Arena that don't have the alt arts.
(24/x)
Various Masters sets provided alternate art for five cards we have on Arena (for the most part cards we got via Historic Anthologies).
(25/x)
The GRN/RNA guild kits had some legends from those sets as the faces of the deck, and thus 3 had alternate arts for those.
(26/x)
Just a couple random prints of cards on Arena - the Commander's Arsenal command tower and Conspiracy 2's Phrexian Arena both had alternate arts (the former is a reprint collection and the latter wouldn't likely be added as a full set to Arena).
(27/x)
A few I listed in my notes, but am hesitant to call, as their sets might just be added themselves.
- The cycling lands from Modern Horizons (MA1 adds enough stuff and would be a great draft that could just be added down the line)
- Original command tower printing.
(28/x)
Starting to get into the more obscure promos and printings.
There are 3 cards on Arena with all Magic Player Rewards full-art versions, although I'm unsure if this would display well on Arena? Some work figuring that out would need to be done.
(29/x)
Next there are a couple cards that received promo versions going along with the old Dack Fayden (rip) comics.
(30/x)
Next is a handful of MtGO promos. I'll be 100% with ya, I did not go through this list as there are a ton of MtGO promos and there probably are some promo versions of cards we have that I missed.
(31/x)
Not to leave out the gorgeous MtGO shock lands of post-WAR Ravnica.

I may or may not have had @windrune's Temple Garden of the reformed Vitu-Ghazi as my phone lock screen since the art for these came out.
(32/x)
And finally, as far as I was willing to research, we have our last 4, which are just a grabbag of things - a Gateway promo Mind Stone, a WMC Thalia, a judge promo Meddling Mage, and the Crucible of Worlds from Worlds.
(33/x)
Now this is where I talk about what I learned, but honestly what I mostly learned is that I spent way too much time on this.

As far as I could tell in a long afternoon, these are all the promos of cards that are on @MTG_Arena but aren't actually on Arena.

Lily out.

Okay! Historic Anthology 3 time! Got a fair few new promos for the size of the addition.

First off there are 3 promos with special Dual Deck art:
Next up we got a few set promos, for various events surrounding the release and whatnot:
And then just a few random ones:
- FNM Ancient Ziggurat
- Commander's Arsenal's Mirari's Wake (the art I'm most familiar with actually)
- FTV Chainer's Edict
New suite of additions to the list of promos:
- 4 of which are just from the new Secret Lair announcement today, which does not include Arena versions of cards that are on Arena.
- 1 for the judge promo of this month's Brawler's Guildhall commander, Hanna.
- 1 for Love Your LGS
Another one which I noticed was different is the promo stained glass Gideon - the Arena one is based on the normal Gideon Blackblade pack art, while the one in paper is based on the mythic edition art, so it gets added here:
