this whole situation with pierce the veil is fucking destroying me emotionally. they're one of the first bands i got into back when i was 12 and first exploring music outside of top 40 radio stations and my dad's cd collection... i spent YEARS waiting for misadventures

to be released, and even got to go on a special trip to target to buy it when i was living in a residential treatment facility. im crushed and heartbroken that they didn't keep their word about mike leaving the band, and don't feel comfortable being a fan of them anymore with

mike still in the band. alot of us in the ptv fandom have been around since selfish machines/collide with the sky and are older now... but in every fandom there is always much younger, more impressionable fans, who could be easily manipulated by their "idol"

why aren't we taking the allegations against mike as seriously as the dahvie vanity situation????

anyways, my point of this thread is that i will no longer be supporting pierce the veil through streams, merch purchases, or purchasing physical copies of their music until something is done to address this THE RIGHT WAY
