Starting a thread of beating tom in b-ball everyday. Day 1: Went up a quick 2-0 in the first 2 games, then my lack of stamina gave tom a win. But Tom got cocky in game 4 & after a 5-0 lead he ultimately lost because he didn’t respect the 3 ball. Brian wins the series 3-1.
Day 2 was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather. I for one was glad to get some extra rest because I haven’t been this sore all quarantine. Hopefully the weather will cooperate tomorrow #1-0
Day 3: looks like this could have been an inside job, because of all days, today was the day we ran out of hash browns so I couldn’t make my routine eggs and hash browns for brunch. Felt light headed and was on an empty stomach, but we don’t make excuses, we got swept today. #1-1
5-2 against this kid, I figured him out and now I can’t lose. I think part of the reason is I want it more. I just got done shooting and running sprints in my backyard for an hour, my family and neighbors didn’t want to come play so I challenged myself, in a class of my own atm.
I just want to thank my parents for giving me all the athleticism in the fam. 7-2 now and it’s not even a competition, I’m toying with the kid and I swept him in back to back series. These 2000s babies put too much time into video games and not enough into perfecting their craft.
Starting to feel sorry for the kid. Went up 8-2 and he pulled the “I wasn’t trying” card and called me a try hard. I just told him straight up he’s not a winner, plain and simple. He challenged me to another series and I won again (no surprise). 9-2 and I’m not letting up.
10-2
Might have to start playing left handed from now on or tell him exactly what I’m on going to do. I need to give myself a challenge. Which should I do? #11-2
