I'm not sure what sort of politics opinion this is, but whenever I find out someone has gone to/is going to/ teaches at Oxford or Cambridge I always find it horribly disappointing and think less of them in the process

apart from you, the person who feels subtweeted by this, you're ok

but, it's like....surely you can see through that thing? It's a sort of 'rube test'

appalling cities, awful approach to public space, absurd pageantry, invented Victorian traditions, moronic rituals, horrible horrible horrible

and if you can hold your nose through that, I tend to think....there's something awry
