My detest for fake news and the hypocrisy of what news outlets choose to and not to report on sometimes gets me accused of being a Trump supporter. Here’s why I find that extremely insulting. That’s suggesting I don’t have the balls to stand up for what I actually believe in.
I don’t believe anyone should report on claims or allegations. That sways public opinion. Claims and allegations should be substantiated before being reported on. The same care and attention that was afforded to Kavanaughs accuser should be afforded to Biden’s accuser.
But we live in a strange time where you’re expected to fall in line. The left is the worst at this. Say anything remotely resembling something positive about Trump and you too are the problem. There’s no being objective. It’s one side or the other.
I mean @shaunking is one of my least favorite people on Twitter, but he too is being accused of contributing to Trumps re-election for calling out these Biden accusations. It’s comical, but frightening.
So I don’t know. Part of me just wants to never speak on politics/news or what I believe because how biased people are, but the other part of me feels compelled to speak up for truth and objectivity.
