OK, white people. Let's tell the truth, shall we?

Many of us did a lot of "resisting" but not actual panicking for the past 3 years.

You knew he was bad, but, let's face it...

You thought the damage would be limited to the marginalized.

To be clear, I didn't think that and neither did most of my friends here.

But there's an awful lot of people still in major disbelief, and the only conclusion I can come to is, they thought they wouldn't actually get hurt by him.

Not that there wasn't genuine concern for others. I just mean, some of you are so shocked. And after what happened to the children on the border, how can there be any shock at his cruelty? Unless.... you thought that cruelty would never be directed at white people.

You could be simultaneously enraged and heartbroken over what happened to those children and *still*, silently, in the back of your mind believe that he wouldn't kill *white Americans*.
