Let me say what I know. A THREAD.

Everyone is being sarcastic with their replies to this tweet. Do you actually talk everyday in your relationship? In my relationship, yes (or at least we make efforts to). 1/4 https://twitter.com/damilare_alves/status/1253744627984859137
But reality is that sometimes when you both say "Hey" or "Good morning" and "How are you?" or at night when you ask "How was your day?", there's really nothing much to talk about. It just seems like you're 'marking the register'. Note, I said SOMETIMES. 2/4
It's not an everyday phenomenon. It just happens like that. So, what then? Do you actually talk everyday in your relationship? I'm happy for you if you and your partner are able to talk so much everyday. Some people don't have that ability. They don't talk much. 3/4
Or there just isn't stuff to talk about. That's however not an excuse to be lazy. You have to be intentional about things like this in your relationship(s) which includes friendships. You can look for conversation starters, games, talk about each other's ideals/worldview, etc.4/4
COMMUNICATION IS KEY. ELSE, YOU'LL KILL EVERYTHING. IF YOU FORCE IT, YOU'LL STILL KILL EVERYTHING.
