Have you come across the word Juggernaut before?
That word has come from Hindu deity Lord Jagannath, maybe reached to Europe in early 13th by Odoric of Pordenone from the Holy Roman Empire or by Claudius Buchanan from Scotland in late 18th Century. Every year the lord visits his
family with massive chariots, which takes almost a month to construct. While due #COVID19 there are uncertainties whether there will be a Rath Jatra this year or not, here I am sharing the work of @OdiaWiki community from Puri.

Maybe one of the first @OpenGLAM attempt by the Odia Wiki community, we don't call it GLAM as it is not part of any Gallery, Library, Archive or Museum. This happens every year from last 800 years, but this was the first time the community has documented the process and files
are under free licenses. Probably the only free licensed files of the chariot making work. One of my favorites urites from the files is the Wheel making process, they still use traditional tools:

Thanks to the community from Puri for taking this effort, though they started the documentation work almost 15-20 days late... they were still able to capture many things. Like this many traditional or cultural activities are happening around us, many of them are getting
documented but are not available for everyone to use, these open licensed resources from the cultural work can be part of many research or other projects.
