Married men tend to get promoted and earn more because they have families and are seen to be or need to be the biggest contributors to the household. Also all they do is work so they can do it well and get the recognition for it. Their clothes are cleaned for them, their food is made, their suits are tailored and their children are cared for, all they do is make sure they have paid for all of it.
Also why they know nothing about groceries. Now that our local mall has banned children I see more and more men shopping. Almost all of them with a list and on a video call with women (whom I presume are their partners) walking them aisle to aisle picking out things.
I don’t think men suffer as much guilt for being bad parents as women do. Because simply being in the home and paying for shit makes you so much better than most dads. When you’re a working mom you’re also baking for the cake sale, professionally you can’t do as well.
