As much as I’m still working and feel sorry for those who are not. I don’t think anyone will understand the struggles of getting up and going to work everyday dealing with all of this at the moment. I’m sorry but it’s not just a normal day at work, not at all. THREAD
Social distancing all day everyday to not just customers but family or friends you haven’t seen in ages, trying to fill shelves without being in the way of customers shopping for what they need, getting them in and out as quick as you possibly can on the tills.
The list goes on and on. Giving staff abuse for something we’ve been told to do to help keep you safe whilst putting us at risk, is going to do nothing what so ever.
I don’t think anyone can ever say they understand what it’s like to work through this all unless you truly are. It’s mentally draining more than anything ever has or will be. None of us want to go in to work but we’re there to help you whilst we still can!
So please for the love of god right now, do not give people abuse because you’re being told to go the right way or that it’s only one person aloud in. Stay 2 metres away and I don’t think I can say this enough..
STAFF MEMBERS WORKING ARE STILL NORMAL PEOPLE. Do not rule us out and still stand next to us, push in front, lean over us, cough near us or uncover yourself near us. We’re trying to be safe too.
Sorry for the rant but it’s not fair, thanks. Thank you to everyone and those who carry on doing what they’re doing to keep themselves safe as well as others!
