The hook that reels young folks into the leftist mindset is “compassion.”

When I was in grad school, every professor who spoke about “social justice” made it sound like minorities needed saving—and that we’d be doing the world a service if we helped end “systemic racism.”

And when the entire institution where you study adopts this mindset and there are ZERO professors who encourage you to see a different viewpoint, you eat it up.

Faux compassion over non existent issues is the hook they use. And it works.

There’s also the false idol of “experts.” So if someone tries to disagree, they would use the authority argument. “You don’t know what you’re talking about bc you’re not a professor”

And we were taught that professors knew more about the world than our uneducated parents/family.
