In evaluating Tara's allegation, remember the following supporting facts:
- She says she told her late mother. From King tape, we know that the month she left Biden's office, her mom said her daughter had a problem with a senator they were thinking of going to the press about

- She says she told her brother. Her brother confirms, and also confirms that she told the mom and mom was upset.

- She says that her intern supervising duties were abruptly taken away from her after she tried to complain about harassment in the office. The NYT spoke with two interns who confirmed she stopped supervising them abruptly without explanation.

- She says she told ANOTHER friend years ago, long before making this charge. That friend confirmed it.

- Tara was saying six months ago that there was more to her story than what she had told to the press so far, and asking for someone to speak with her about it. So she did NOT start saying it was more than harassment when Biden won. https://twitter.com/ReadeAlexandra/status/1187621717830594560

- She says that she filed a complaint about the harassment with Biden's office and has suggested it may be in his Senate files. Biden has refused to allow his papers to be examined. (Though easy to "lose," so I wouldn't be surprised if the complaint disappeared anyway.)

- Tara filed a criminal complaint. This carries penalties if it turns out to be false. Not proof of anything, but worth considering that she did something that is very high stakes if proof comes out that you're lying.

- Seven other women have already accused Biden of touching them inappropriately, though to lesser degrees. We have definitive proof already that Biden doesn't respect women's boundaries. Lucy Flores says he planted a "long, slow kiss." Nobody seems to care but they should.

If you're skeptical of a story by itself, you have to look at whether other facts are consistent with it. Here we have SIX people including her own late mom confirming different parts. I am not sure what extra evidence you can ever hope to have in a case like this.

(One piece of context for the Larry King tape is that Tara has been saying for weeks, including to me, that she was trying to think of ways she could corroborate and remembered mom calling into Larry King about it and she wished she could find the tape but she didn't know how.)
