Itni attention mil gayi hai to story hojani chahiye iski. And why I believe she's the greatest woman I've ever known. https://twitter.com/haris1khan/status/1254071100536995847
So this girl lost her father when she was in her late teens. Then she saw her elder sister commit suicide in front of her, the sister was the closest person to her and meant everything to her. She spent 3 days unconscious in an asylum because of this
She had depression and anxiety permanently and also developed Borderline personality disorder. Had to take multiple sedatives to sleep every single night for many years. Her brothers were both extreme misogynists. She couldn't continue her study beyond http://F.Sc
Because her brothers wouldn't allow. Her mother secretly bought her books for her BA after she'd spent 2 years at home doing nothing and her mental health deteriorated further. The books were bought by taking loans since her brothers didn't give any money
But her brother found out and set fire to the books. Her mother took more loan and bought her books again. She completed her BA privately. Then she completed her MA the same way. By this time one of her brothers had left home and the other was unemployed
They were essentially broke. So she started teaching in a govt school for meagre amount of money which wasn't enough to run the home. So she also started giving tuitions. This girl would travel to one corner of Peshawar for school. Then another corner for one tuition
Then to another frickin nearby city for another tuition. And then another tuition near her home. All in one day. Every single day of the week except Sunday. And this is Peshawar mind you, a very conservative city hard for women to travel in. Her house barely managed
And after all this she'd still come back and cook dinner because her mother was old and ailing and she had a mentally disabled sister at home. All of this while fighting her own psychological problems. She completed her M.Ed with all of this going on
And then her M.Phil also very recently. All through sheer hard work and will power. Eventually her brother started working as well and she stopped the tuitions. But she still has mental breakdowns and had to spend more time in asylum
And yet this girl has only love for her family. For her brothers. So it's not like we were together for a long time but no one can love like a woman like her can. So when I say she's the greatest woman I've ever met, I really mean it.
And just to add, she always said that there's more to her story that I do not know and she wouldn't tell. These are just the parts that I'm aware of.
