Just when you thought this pandemic couldn’t get any stranger, cars lined up and down West Burnside as far as the eye can see. The reason: Ringside steakhouse is selling steaks by the truckload to people in their cars. Overheard just now: 400 people are waiting in line.
People are arguing over the line. PPB is intervening.
PPB is directing traffic into the parking lot. Asked how they’re handling this, a PPB officer responds: “We shouldn’t be. This shouldn’t be happening right now.”
In the background, you can see the truck full of steaks, apparently being sold at highly discounted prices. The supply is running low but hungreds of cars are still lined up.
