i thought at first it could be hopp going crazy the way private pyle did in the beginning of the film but later came to a possible conclusion that it could be about hopps experience in nam and while he’s in russia he’s looking back on his experience

2. The devils advocate:

im pretty sure this isn’t so much about the devil but about the fact that kevin (keanu) realizes his boss is the devil and is his father (pacino). hopper and jonathan... mayhaps that’s why empire strikes back is on the list too

3. Titanic:

i don’t think it’s so much about the love story but about the fact that their ship is sinking and they’re left in the middle of the ocean to survive. it could possibly be hoppers escape, it also connects to all the other movies on the list with sharks
