How the satellite tv installer found my “toy” stash.

My friend Wendy was going through a dry spell so I bought her some “toys” for her bday. Due to a mix up, I got 2 identical packages containing her 5 piece pleasure pack and a 3 pc free gift. 16 total I sent her several “toys” and tossed the remaining on my bedroom tv stand.

Fast forward 2 years. My then husband and I decide to get satellite tv. I clean the house, the tech arrives. He installs 2 rooms, then heads to mine. He says “what should I do with the stuff on top of the tv stand?” Forgetting my stash, I told him to toss it on the bed.

He finishes, tells me he didn’t put anything back. Me:

Super friendly gives me his cell number and says if I need anything to call.

I walk past my bedroom to see 11 “toys” laying on my bed. I call my then husband in hysterics who proceeds to loudly tell everyone within a 1 mile radius.

My ex says “Don’t worry you’ll never see him again”

A week later the DVR breaks. I call the number, explain. The tech says

I made my ex stay for the repair. As if this wasn’t enough, my mom found them years later. At which point I realized, it was time for my garbage men to see them in the trash.
