Let’s start with the obvious thing, which is the goals he brings to the team.

So far this season, in the Premier League, Anthony Martial has scored 11 and assisted a further 3.

This gives him an average of 0.48 goals per game and a conversion rate of 18.3%.
To expand on his goalscoring qualities, Martial has predominantly played with Andreas or Lingard behind him.

In contrast to this, someone like Agüero (16 goals) has played with De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva etc.

It’s a scary proposition to think of Martial with Bruno and Pogba.
As of November 2019, this was our record with and without Martial starting under Ole Gunnar Solskjær:

Win rate (starting) - 73.3%
Win rate (not starting) - 27.8%

It isn’t just the goals he brings, it is evidently a lot more, giving a lift to his teammates aswell.
His great close control and amazing dribbling, causes all sorts of problems for defences.

He fits perfectly into a Utd side which has been so lethal on the counter attack.

A perfect example of which came in the Manchester Derby in December 👇
He has really been brilliant in a trio consisting of him, Rashford and one of James/Greenwood, in which has notched up more goals than Liverpool’s forward three in all comps this season.

Here is another example of Martial’s quality, as Utd struggled in Belgium - one chance 👇
Quick, dynamic and brilliant at linking up with teammates, Martial is a defenders nightmare.

For me, he is one of the most frightening attackers in Europe and the world, so good at everything he does.
