My uncle died in hospice in February. He requested Bach, and even after no longer able to request music, least agitated when music on. My father seemed most as ease with Mozart a few years earlier. 2/
My brother seemed to be most calm with chamber music during his 2 weeks in the ICU on vent after a stroke, although occasional soft jazz guitar without lyrics seemed good as well 3/
My point is, when you and your families, patients more attentive to Advanced Directive, Five Wishes, or evening just the cell phone or iPad at hospitals, remember that people can hear through semi or unconsciousness 4/
