The entire world, not just US adversaries, have watched our response in shock at how primitive it has been. Botched testing, delay & denial (far longer than Chinese authorities), enriching elites & corporations while masses suffer, an anti-science culture from top to bottom
And there’s more: our hollowed out healthcare system, unaffordable private health insurance, and actual disinformation from our most watched cable news network, Fox News, that downplayed the virus and encouraged people to gather, putting millions of lives at risk.
Chinese, Russian & Iranian ”disinformation” isn’t the reason America looks like a failed state. The failure of American governance is the reason we look like a failed state. A healthy democracy would be capable of introspection. But we are neither healthy nor a real democracy.
