why do people have kids they don’t want!!

i was very much a wanted and planned baby born to parents who were 30 years old and the privilege that has afforded me compared to my husband and some of my peers is mindblowing.

of course the real buried lede in this thread is how many people were last to be picked up because their parents were busting ass at their jobs to make ends meet. but some of them obviously also just didn’t care or were drunks
