Got some new tape on Jaylon Johnson last night.
I was too low on him. He's great. Thread starts now.

Bottom of the video. Cover2. Pushes the receiver toward the hash. Passing the receiver to the safety. Sinks back to the numbers. Baits Anthony Gordon by giving him a window. INT.
Big reason why he's so good in press is because he's patient at the line of scrimmage. Doesnt bail too quickly. Isnt shooting his hands too fast. Doesnt give any ground at the LOS. Really good jam on the upfield shoulder to throw off the timing of the route. Really solid rep.
Comfortable pressing in the slot. What makes press in the slot so tough is you dont have the sideline to protect you. Two-way go. Solid upfield jam but he brings his outside arm up leaving the outside open. Does a good job staying with it until he can flip his hips. Valuable rep.
Having a corner great at press in the redzone can help force field goals and reduce points over the course of a year.

Stays patient and square to the LOS and lets the WR dance. Cuts the WR off giving him no release or chance at the ball. He pissed WSUs WR coach with this rep.
Really good off-man rep. QB throws the ball here and its going to the house.
Gotta be careful with the two hand jam.
This rep he dominates Pittman but its a risk/reward rep.
Again you see the patience here. Zero ground given up. Just lets Pittman come to him. Pittman cant get him off.
Forces him to the sideline and then works on top of him.
Solid off-man rep here. Outside alignment.
Knows the safety is sitting inside ready to trigger.
Patient as always. Slow out of his pedal.
Drives on the receiver. Really smart kid.
