Ad people who only talk about ad shit are absolutely tiring to me. I know I shouldn't talk lmao but sometimes I want to talk about non trendy, regular people things.

Like... brunch. And siestas. And general, not at work afternoons. 😂
I don't think I enjoy fortune cookie-style messages on building a strong social presence, even though there's value in sharing what works.

But a lot of times, they come off as industry-level respectability politics on what it takes to be a good brand.
Like yes, it's a really great take that any one of us can come up with under ideal conditions. But no one ever talks about the tried and true because they work.

Same goes for people. No one's interesting just because they like talking about what they do for a living.
Oh, and if you're only retweeting people who reaffirm everything you tweet about, you're not a thought leader: you're just a textbook. And young professionals barely read those anymore, so try harder.
