2/ Suppose #SARSCoV2 - like other respiratory viruses (reminder, this is a virus with a fatality rate well under 1%, not the Randall Flagg) - spreads much more slowly in summer. In that case ending the lockdowns and letting the virus spread slowly makes sense...

3/ But suppose somehow it is different than the flu and is unaffected by summer. In that case ending the lockdowns STILL makes sense, so we have the peak of the epidemic at a time when the flu is quiet and not straining health-care systems.
