Performance Buzz Winners - Score Distributions!

[A Thread]

Looking a little further into what it takes to win Performance Buzz Dividends.

#FootballIndex
All data within this thread is gathered from @footballindexed, from their new service that allows data to be exported into Excel to experiment with! Great stuff guys!

The data contains every Performance Buzz Winning Score, EXCLUDING INTERNATIONALS.
I have began by displaying the Average PB Winning Scores for each Position and each Match Type.
However, by using these scores, if a player was to hit one of these average scores on a particular game day, it will only suggest the player is likely to win Performance Buzz Dividends 50% of the time based on previous data from this season.
Therefore, using the PB Winning Scores, I have created distribution tables, one for each Position and shown distributions for each Match Type.

This allows us to see the likelihood of a player winning PB Dividends posting a slightly higher or lower score.
Firstly, Defenders appear to hit the least 300+ Scores, with just 1 from Ben Chill in the 9-0 win v Southampton.

A score of 240 would suggest approximately a 57.41% (100% - 42.59%) chance of claiming the top spot on a Gold Match Day, and 86.44% on a Bronze one.
Midfielders, with the highest Average PB Winning score on any match day, also have the most combined scores above 300 (14), across all 3 Match Types.

The Gold Match Day distribution shows how competitive it is, with a score of 240 suggests just a 24.07% chance of a PB Win.
Forwards scores appear to fluctuate the most, particularly on Bronze days. However, they have the most scores 300+ (8) on Gold days.

Although, a respectable score of 260 suggests a 93.22%, 71.79% and 59.26% chance of a PB Win on a Bronze, Silver or Gold Match Day respectively.
Furthermore, we can also look at particular Match Days and see how each Position type compare against each other.

For Each Position:
- 59 Bronze Winners
- 39 Silver Winners
- 54 Gold Winners
Bronze Match Days:

Midfielders appear far more dominant on these match days. Possibly due to their being far less Forwards on display in these days, thus less goals are scored. It would also appear a lot of wins here are built from strong base scores.
Silver Match Days:

Due to more Forwards on show, it's likely one pulls out a much higher score, with reflects on the distribution tables by having 4 300+ scores. The Midfielders also maintaining respectable scores with the Defenders still struggling to break the 240 mark!
Gold Match Days:

The most exciting days of the week, which usually fall on the weekend matches with a minimum of 330 players on display. Due to this large number of players, it just takes one of these from each position to score highly and record a PB Win!
With this thread, I hope this has opened your eyes a little more to what it takes to win Performance Buzz Dividends.
